AGM held 28 Nov 2024 |
The AGM was held at the clubhouse on Thursday 28 November. Reports on membership, finance, social events and maintenance were presented, along with discussions on other relevant items. A new Committee was selected including some new members taking on roles vacated. Further details will be provided when the minutes are formally issued.

Recent social function - 22 Nov 2024 |
A social function for all members was held on Friday 22 November, 2024. It was a warm night but everyone enjoyed themselves with great food and company. Three functions are held each year. Many thanks to Lillian and Committee helpers to ensure the night was such a success.

To preserve new court surfaces, all members are reminded to "bag" courts when play is concluded
|
With new court surfaces from 23 April , it is important that all members "bag" the courts when play is finished and before leaving. Bagging involves pulling the drag mats over the court surfaces to erase all footmarks and provide an even spread of surface materials. Drag mats- (picture at right) are rubber mats with a draw cord and are located around the sides of the courts and should be hung on hooks of fence.

Member Social Tennis - Monday 7.30-9.30 pm |
Members are invited to play socially with other members on Monday night. Courts are available from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm and two groups play - one for more consistent players and one for less experienced players not as confident in their play. one for regular players and one for less experienced players. Whats App is used for interested members to co-ordinate play each Monday. Various Committee members host the social tennis nights during the year. If you wish to be included on the Monday Whats App group, provide your details including mobile number to [email protected]

All members need to book a court before use.
Those registered for online booking can book direct. See process and rules under Court Booking tab. If you have not yet registered, send an email requesting details to [email protected] |
Guests |
Members are reminded they are able able to invite a guest or two at no additional charge for occasional play and can use one court only.

Court hours |
Members are reminded that normally court hours are 7.30 am in the morning to 9.30 pm in the evening. This is to ensure that neighbours are not affected by noise outside these hours.

Keeping the clubhouse clean |
The Committee has engaged a cleaner to clean the clubhouse and bathroom area once a month.
To ensure the clubhouse is clean at all times, it would be appreciated if members could clean and put away any glasses or cups they use. |
